Heavenly Abode: The DIVINE HIMALAYAS!

The Himalayas have always appealed and fantasised me more than any other mountain ranges in the entire world including The Alps, The Nilgiris, etc..

Himalayas are considered to be a heavenly abode.. They have homed many ancient rishis, sages who have meditated and done other practices thereby guiding the entire world from a remote corner.... Even now, many of them are said to reside there in both physical and subtle forms :)....Lord Shiva, the apex God in the Indian mythology is also said to reside in Himalayas with His counterpart Devi Parvati ( Shiva and Shakti) denoting the balance of male and female aspects of universe.....

Himalayas have a spiritual aspect attached to them.. Seekers seek solitude in them..

I realise one thing... When i look at them, they make my faith stronger and stronger in The Divine day be day :) :) Don't you feel so??? :)

Keep Breathing!!

The signature at the end of my mails on Google reads- "Keep Breathing! Shreya".. Many liked it and few questioned me about what does it mean?? :) Here is the answer(especially for you Sudhir ji) : The moment one reads it, the first thing he/she realises is "Oh! I am breathing!!" :D

For all of you reading this post (and ofcourse for those who had the above reaction) ,my first question is - What was the first thing you did when you were born?? No, it wasn't crying!! :) (I can read your minds! hehe).. The first thing you did was "INHALING"!! The second question- What will be the last thing you will do, when you die?? No, not making others cry!! :) The last thing you'll do is "EXHALING"!! Between these two points, the one thing we never miss is "BREATHING"!! We constantly inhale and exhale.... Once you stop it, you are dead... !!

But, how many times till now have we attempted to this breath?? To this only link between your body and consciousness which keeps you alive?? For many of you, the answer would be "NEVER"!! :)

Breathing is a wonder!! :) The moment you become aware of your breathing, you relax down and become calm and serene! Your mind stabilises! :) Divine gifted you breathing as an involuntary action but some voluntary use of it can help you make your life far better! :)

Ancient rishis and sages realised this and hence formulated "YOGA" and "PRANAYAMA" because they knew through how much stress, the future generations will have to go and in those troublesome times, they'll attempt to everything except this "Inbuilt Miracle" in themselves that can keep them away from any stress in life!!

Long deep breaths, Rhythmic breathing, conscious breathing are some techniques which opens you to a new realm of wonder! It makes you realise how wonderful a creature I am!! And how beautiful and loving that Divine is who gave you everything you need right inside you!! :) :)

Attempt to your breath once and feel the amazing change!! Do it just now!! :) Respect and Honour it! For, it keeps you alive... :)
I thank my GURU to make me aware of this power in me to bring a change, not only in myself but in the whole world just by this Breath through HIS Most Powerful amazing breathing technique- " SUDARSHAN KRIYA "!! I offer my gratitude to HIM!! :) :)

Nature: The Ultimate Guru!!

The Colourful Merry-making Flowers.....

The Firm Mighty Mountains....

The Lushy Green Forests....

The Nature's musicians.....

The Golden Glorious Sunshine...

The Serene Calm River....

The Tranquil Cool Moon....

All these have much more to convey to the mankind apart from their amazing beauty.. :)
Nature has its own Perfection... A perfect balance, a perfect timing and perfect rules...
Did you ever notice that the Sun rises and sets at its fixed timing.. and so does the stars and the seasons change.. Even the birds and other animals have their fixed time of mating, reproduction and everything! And this has continued since ages.... Whatsoever happens, whether a natural disaster, a man-made disaster or anything comes, it never fails :) It comes, gives an essence, a meaning to its identity and goes off!

Thats how it teaches you- Come what may! Never give up... You are here for something, some purpose- to give a meaning, a essence to your existence, your identity and you should never fail to strive for that! :)

Nature also is very sensitive.. It communicates with you... answers you in some or the other way.. You just need to be aware ! As Guruji says " Nature loves you 10 times a mother loves her newborn and a Guru loves you 100 times a mother loves her a newborn" :).. HE says- " Nature loves it, when you meditate" and thats the reason why it never rains when we do satsang or group meditation :)......

The ancient Sadhus and seekers learnt a lot from nature.. When they said -" karma kar, fal ki chinta mat kar" i.e. perform good deeds and do not worry about outcome... Or when science say-" Everything in this Universe is balanced.. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed ", in both the cases, nature has a lot to contribute.. Nature does it that way.. If one puts a lot of effort in getting something in his/her life, then that effort, that energy he puts in never go wasted.. Nature always keeps it conserved for you.. And thats the reason why even if you dont get the deserved output in that particular thing but somewhere in future, in something, you get unexpectedly good result... And thats what people call it as "LUCK"! :) However what so ever Nature does for you, it is always the best by any chance! :) :)

More than anything else, Nature has a power to heal.. Just a view of some blossoming flower or a beautiful sunrise can take away your stress and lighten you up.. It makes you realise and feel the presence of the Divine :) That there is someone looking after you, who has created this beautiful gift for you.. To help you take to the journey within! :)

Nature is indeed a gift, a boon to us by The Divine.. It is an expression of HIS love for us..We must respect and conserve it in its most pristine form... :) :)

Tryst with LIFE!

Often, i hear people say, "I just dont understand what is all this happening in my life?!".. Also often i read in slam books, questions like "What is life according to you?" and the most commonly found answers are " Life is like an ice-cream. Eat it before it melts. " or " Life is like a movie. Enjoy it before it ends." and many other fantasy answers....

But have we ever seriously thought " What is life!?" ? Actually, many of us would have surely been stuck by questions like " What is life!? " , " Who am i!? ", " Where have i come from!?" , " What after death!?" etc. at various points in our lives but everytime, we somehow managed to ignore them! Obviously.. who wants to think about his own death?? But death is the BIGGEST REALITY! Death has been considered a source of misery for ages and thats the reason why people refrain themselves from even thinking about it. Its considered inauspicious to even talk about death. This way they keep running from it and getting more fearful until the doomsday fall in and they are caught unaware by this Biggest Reality...

Its far more intelligent to think about death rather than life.. For, the more you think about death, the more you will understand life! If one reminisce about his life so far, right from his birth to the point where he is now- all the places he had lived in, all the people he had come across with, all the situations he had encountered. he'll realise that life is like a movie going on, with scenes coming and going.. Its like a dream and the alarm to it is death! Every passing moment becomes a part of this dream.. Even if you notice now as you read this post, this very moment will become a part of that on-going dream.. Its such an irony! Throughout our lives, we assume life as a reality and keep ignoring death.. But life is actually an illusion with everything around in it..

The moment one realises this illusionary nature of life, dispassion and detachment arises, which is our ultimate goal.. We keep wandering from one lifetime to other and then another and never do we ever succeed in getting out of our complacencies in life and this cobweb of lifetimes ..

Death is you friend.. There is an opportunity in death.. an opportunity to become one with the Infinite, the Eternal... Seek and wait desperately for your death.. Prepare yourself for it, rather than running from it...

One needs to be constantly aware of this Truth in life but its not always easy.. However the presence of a Guru in life makes this quite simple and easy.. :) As it happened with me.. Its when the Grace of a Guru showers in, that you come across such Epiphanies in life :) I offer my gratitude to HIM.. :) :)
